1. All ducks entered are provided by the Presenter and shall remain the property of the Presenter.

  2. Once the ducks are launched, they are on their own. No attempt to free or interfere with any duck is permitted, unless deemed necessary by the Race Committee.

  3. A number is attached to each duck corresponding to the number on your entry form. Multiple entries will be assigned additional numbers for identification. The persons' names appearing on the entry form corresponding to the first ducks in order of finish will be awarded prizes. Positive identification will be required to claim any prize(s) won. A list of prizes can be obtained from Children's Bureau by sending a written request with a self-addressed stamped return envelope to: Mighty Rubber Ducky Derby at 50 S. Anaheim Blvd., Suite 241, Anaheim, CA 92805.

  4. No cash equivalent or exchanges will be provided in lieu of the designated prizes. Any taxes and fees are the responsibility of the winner.

  5. By entering, the entrants release the sponsors, the beneficiary, its officers, directors, volunteers, staff and other related entities from any and all liability with respect to prizes.

  6. By entering, winners consent to the promotional use of their names and likenesses without additional compensation.

  7. Because of value received, entries are not considered tax deductible by the IRS.

  8. A minimum donation of $10 is requested. Free entry tickets defeat the charitable fundraising purpose of this event and are not encouraged. However no purchase is necessary, and any person may receive one free racing duck entry by requesting in in persons at the Children's Bureau office located at 50 S. Anaheim Blvd., Suite 241, Anaheim, CA

  9. All participants enter Wild Rivers Waterpark at their own risk.

  10. Million-dollar* duck: One duck in every 3,333 ducks in the duck race will be randomly selected as a potential winning million dollar duck. The winning duck numbers are selected prior to the race and kept in a sealed security envelope. When the 17th adopted duck crosses the finish line, a race official will determine whether the duck is one of the preselected million-dollar winning ducks. If it is, the duck adopter wins the million dollars*. If it is not, the million dollars will not be awarded. The odds of winning are approximately 1:3333. The odds of being the first place duck will depend on the total number of adopted ducks, and adopters. *The million-dollar prize is paid in 25 equal annual installments of $40,000 each, without interest.
